My station is not sited correctly, and I am aware of that, but given my location it is the best option. I live on a steep and heavily wooded lot, and the station is located on the corner of a deck about 20 feet above the ground, anemometer on same mast but 15 feet higher. This is the best location to make sure the rain bucket is not effected by overhanging trees.

Temperature readings between my station and thermometers 5 feet off the ground are very close (within half a degree), so I have confidence it the temp data.

Wind speeds are probably reduced due to the trees that completely surround the house, compounded by the steep slope, blocks wind from the east.
